Charles Scott Keefer

Charles Scott Keefer, 64, of Pearland, Texas passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021. Survived by wife Rachel, and step-daughter Aubree Todd of Pearland; daughter Stacey Keefer Stanton (her husband Chris); son Jason Scott Keefer (his wife Deanna) all of Pearland, Texas; sister Jeanne Mosteller (her husband Eddie) of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; and sister Joni Olson of Tornado, West Virginia. Also survived by the light of his life - his precious grandchildren Lyla and Caylee Stanton, Rylee, Reed and Ryann Keefer of Pearland, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, JoAnn Holstein and Benjamin Keefer of St. Albans, West Virginia. Scott was born in South Charleston, West Virginia on August 16, 1956. He graduated from St. Albans High School in 1974, marrying his high school sweetheart, Kathy Beane, in 1975. He owned and operated Nitro Printing Company for 12 years while employed by Union Carbide Corporation/Dow Chemical Company for 19 years as an IT specialist. During that employment his family was transferred to Houston, Texas in 1994. After leaving Dow Chemical Company, Scott worked 19 years in the automotive industry where he excelled as an award winning finance manager. During that time, he met his current wife, Rachel, and her daughter Aubree. Scott loved serving at Clear Creek Community Church where he attended for many years. His many pleasures included concerts, Texans football, platinum level cruising and showing his patriotism. However, his greatest pride was “Family Sunday Dinners” and his precious five grandchildren. Scott was full of life and loved making others laugh and being the center of attention.
