On January 10, 2018, the world lost an incredible person. Everyone would describe Romelia Ruiz as having warm smiles, being free-spirited, happy, and a true blessing to meet. Though we believe she will always be with us, she left to be with God to live a life of abundance for eternity. Romelia had a big heart, always giving, and nurturing, yet her heart was weak for the desires she wanted to accomplish. She left a tremendous, loving family that are truly going to miss her and remember her for the person she was. She left her husband, four sons, daughter, two grandsons, one granddaughter, daughters-in-law, mother, thirteen siblings, and more family and friends. She also left her beloved pets Rocket, Texan, and Dashi. With a heavy heart, we ask to be joined in remembering the life of Romelia Ruiz as we gather for the funeral services. We are gathering to honor and remember the life of our loved one. The wake will take place at Santana Funeral Directors on Mon., January 15th, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. 401 Ssgt. Macario Garcia Drive, Houston, Texas 77011. Join us on Tues., January 16th, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 1 p.m. 7250 Harrisburg Blvd., Houston, Texas 77011 Followed by the funeral service at Forest Park Cemetery 6900 Lawndale St. 77023 at 2:30 p.m. El 10 de enero de 2018, el mundo perdió una persona increíble. Todos describirían a Romelia Ruiz teniendo calorosas sonrisas, siendo espíritu libre, feliz y una verdadera bendición para conocer.
