Valentin Galvan

Valentin Galván Guerrero, 79, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at home surrounded by his family following a long battle with cancer. Born on December 8, 1936 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Valentin Galván and Maria de Jesus Guerrero. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Minerva Galván; and his brothers, Raymundo Galván, Manuel Galván, Rodolfo Galván and Juan Arteaga. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Margarita (Jiménez) Galván; his sons, Valentin Jr. and Armando (Claudia); his daughters, Silvia, Blanca (Ricardo), Rosa (Ramiro), Sandra, and Yolanda; his grandchildren, Robert Lugo, Jr., Norberto Lugo, Eduardo Ludo, Fernando Lugo, Kirina McNamara, Blanca Rosa Bejar, Jesus Tovar, Armando Tovar, Sabrina Cruz, Lizzette Gallo, Ramiro Gallo, Jr. Franchesca Gallo, Alvaro Guevara, Chloe Guevara, Claudette Galván, Anthony Galván, Ankinzon Vargas, Agustin Cornelio, III, and Abygail Cornelio; his great grandchildren, Lindsey Lugo, Ella Lugo, Lance Lugo, Trinity Lugo, Sebastian McNamara, Nayla Jiménez, Domani Jiménez, Bailey Bejar, Matthew Tovar, Melanie Tovar, James Tovar, Bridget Tovar, Angel Cruz, Ayla Gallo, Isabelle Guevara, and Rain Guevara; his brother, Antonio Galvan; his sister, Tiodora Duplan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Valentin Galván Guerrero will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
