A strong business leader in the community, the Santana family has been actively serving Houston for over 40 years in several service industries. Santana Funeral Directors is family owned and operated. The funeral home began serving Houston families in 1985. Since our first location opened we have grown to five chapels in three locations to serve the Houston and surrounding areas.
Our History
Our services include traditional and military funerals, direct burials, cremations and memorial services. We work with all faiths and religions to provide services to all families.
As industry leader, we specialize in the transport of human remains within and outside the United States. Our commercial embalming establishment, International Embalming Services enables us to provide efficient and economical transport services.
Our knowledgeable directors and staff can provide proficient and expedient service in the transport of the human remains, within the continental U.S., Latin American and Europe. Through a well-established network of partnerships, we are able to service families as far away as and into Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
Our first funeral home located at 401 SSgt Macario Garcia Drive, in Houston’s East End, is centrally located near downtown Houston, in the Magnolia area, and is in close proximity to the Denver Harbor, Galena Park, South Houston, downtown, mid-town and the Houston Medical Center.
Santana Funeral Directors also provides two other locations from which we service the Houston/Baytown areas and communities; 5352 Katy Freeway in Houston and 6505 Decker Drive in Baytown. Our Katy Freeway location is just minutes west of downtown Houston, in the historical Houston Heights. The funeral home is at the corner of TC Jester and I-10 (on the westbound side of Interstate-10). From this location we service the communities of West Houston, Spring Branch, Bellaire, Katy and other surrounding areas.
Our Baytown, location is approximately 20 miles east of downtown Houston; from here we serve the Baytown, Channelview, Jacinto City, Pasadena, Crosby and La Porte communities.
